In the late 1960‘s there was Cook & Son TV & Radio repair. Virginia Cook would sit there and crochet while her husband and son took care of the repair work. People started asking her could she teach them how to crochet. As that got more popular she contacted some companies about starting a yarn store. Little by little people were coming in for yarn more than repairs so in 1970 they legally changed the name of the business to Cook’s Arts & Crafts Shoppe. Up until April 2010 Virginia was there 6 days a week. Virginia passed away but her Son & Grand-Daughter continues the business Virginia started.

View some of the press coverage we have gotten over the years. Advertising is so expensive and usually out of a small businesses price range so its always nice when a publication says something nice, for FREE. I’ve also posted of the comments customers have left over the years at different web sites. Please take a moment and leave your comment at your favorite review site.
